Description:
Nationally accredited, Florida Gold seal program for children 18 months - 5 years old. We are a preferred provider of the Childcare Connection, School Readiness Coalition and Military Scholarship Programs; as well as a provider of the state funded Voluntary Pre Kindergarten program (VPK), a free program for 4 year old children that will be attending kindergarten the following year. We conduct child assessments to design individual child curriculum to bring out the best in every child. The accelerated, school readiness gifted curriculum is second to none and focuses on the development of the whole child. I am Karen McLoughlin, the owner. This is my passion and life work. I complete my BS from the University of Maryland and my Masters Program in Preschool Education from NOVA University. My passion and commitment is evident in every dimension of this world class program.

This school was such a wonderful experience for my whole family. My son started the program when he was two and he was so shy and would not talk to anyone. Now he is in 2nd grade and flourishing in every area of his life. The school emphasized not only his academic development but his social and emotional skills. He was placed in the gifted program immediately and tested at the 8th grade level in math. The school was a gift for us and I recommend it highly to anyone. The staff know what they are doing and more than that, they really care about the children in their care. Being NAECY Accredited makes a huge difference in quality! |

We are now the Academy for Early Learning. We were the first center in Sarasota county to be NAEYC Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children; achieved by only 6% of the programs in the whole country. We have an accelerated school readiness program with a research base gifted curriculum. Our program is geared for children 18 months through 5 years old. We participate in the School Readiness Scholarship Program as well as the state funded voluntary VPK program. |
