| My child has been attending Holy Family since the 18 months. This year I have been very disappointed with the lack of teacher comittment shown by my childs teacher. I have spoken with the daycare director on numberous occasions about the lazyness displayed by my child's teacher. Nothing has been done to solve this lack of motivation. I feel my child has not learned much from her teacher nor has any of the other children in her class. Since the new daycare director has taken over the facility has gone down hill. Currently, we are looking for a new facility for my child. Any parent interested in Holy Family needs to really ask questions and observe the classroom on a pop-in basis before allowing thier child to attend. |

| My daughter has been attending Holy Family for 1 1/2 years. It is a very clean and professional environment compared to others within the city. It has more of a school type setting. I was initially impressed with the method of entry into the facility. You have to be buzzed in before you can make entry into the center. The playground is completely fenced in also. The day care is attached to the assisted living nursing home and the children are actively involved with the elderly. On Halloween they go trick or treating through the hall ways. The staff is very friendly and they seem VERY attentive with the little ones (babies).
On the down side, I feel that communication between the staff and parents could use improvement. I often get the monthly schedule after that month has already begun. Fundraisers were a nightmare as far as not being notified that orders came in while we were out of town that week and I had to ask a month later when they were coming in only to be told my order had sat in a closet for a month.
But all in all I rate this day care a 4 and highly recommend it!!! |
