| At first, I was not impressed with how old the building looked. You figure that if a business had been around for a long time and had been successful, that it would look better taken care of....but I got past all that. What I was impressed with was that the writings of the 4yr olds looked like they were in 1st grade. As a parent, it's important to me that my child be in an environment that's gonna give them a 'head start' among their peers. I thought I had found that here. After letting my kids attend there for a week, I was greated at the door by other children manning the front which I was uncomfortable with. Also, the kids were always seated and orderly...ALWAYS, to the point where I began to question if they ever played. To be fair, the owners were very sweet ladies, but some of the teaching methods seemed kind of old school and if my kids were a discipline problem it might have been great to get them in line, but I pulled them because I am convinced that they can be in an environment of learning that is also fun. |
