We've had two children at Spirit at Play and can't say enough good about the program. Our kids have been exposed to so many things- sports, arts, culture, science through nature... the list goes on an on. In addition, the school practices and teaches good health, balanced nutrition, and conservation (my five year old is the reference at our house for what can be recycled). The staff is wonderful and our children have adored their teachers. The program has done a wonderful job of preparing our children for grade school. Spirit at Play has my highest recommendation. |

We were lucky enough to have our kids attend Spirit At Play. Because of their waiting list, we tried 2 other childcare places before we could get in, and we have been very happy ever since. We have had 2 kids go through the program, and our third child is about to start.
They longevity of the employees says a lot about a childcare facility - Kelly and Judy are running it and have been there since 1995. Snacks are healthy and nutritious (no juice boxes and chips, instead they serve fruit, vegetables and sandwiches) and the kids take their own lunches.
I like their emphasis on sustainability, and the methods they use for teaching and encouraging kids. Not that one won't encounter problems when you dealing with 3 classes of 12 kids, but if there are difficulties, I'm impressed with how it's dealt with. |
