Overall, I was not happy w/ my experience w/ KidSpot. I had been told that it was a great option for drop in childcare that was affordable. So I gave it a try. The first day my 2 young children attended, they were there for approxamately 3.5 hours. In that time, they finished there juice cups which were refillled w/ water after I left a container of juice for refills, my 2 yr old went through 2 changes of clothes (they said he would not go potty but I find this very hard to believe as he has been potty trained for over a month) and then they put a diaper on him!!!!!!!!!!!!! After I specifically said not to. I would rather they have called me and I would have come and got them if he ran out of clothes, putting a diaper on a potty trained 2 yr old is a HUGE step backwards. The final icing on the cake was when I got home and emptied the diaper bag only to find thay they had not fed my children lunch as I had requested. I packed a lunch for both children and asked them to feed them around 11:30-12:00. When I arrived at 1:30 they had not had lunch!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?!?! So basically for 3.5 hours my children had nothing to drink, no lunch or snack and my potty trained child came home in a diaper. Needless to say they will NOT be going back. |
