My boys were here for almost 2 years. They were fairly cooperative with me as a single mother but both of my children were extremely unhappy. They weren't presented with any challenges in the learning and development department. My sons would both come home with strange bruises and bite marks that the teachers knew nothing about. I watched on several occassions as one little boy would hit my youngest son in the face or push him over and the teacher was standing right next to him but would claim that she had not seen anything. There were also occassions when one of my boys' "teachers" told me that I was not doing a good job as a mother because my youngest son has separation anxiety and was taking longer to potty train than the other kids in his class. He just turned 3 and has been potty training for about 4 months. The problems and behaviors that they were claiming to see from my boys while they were at school as being violent and abusive towards other kids and even teachers is completely contradictive to their personalities. When they are not at the center, my boys are happy and vibrant and are not violent any more than 2 young brothers would be. They are polite and respectful and always willing to help. If their behavior was what the school claimed to be, the problem seemingly originates from the facility and staff. Also, in the last year, I have only seen the director at the school maybe 5 times. The lack of attention to the children and lack of business etiquette as well as very non-chalant care for the children is more than enough grounds for anyone to look somewhere else first.
