Two of our children go to NVCCC. One is 4 and has been going there for 2 years, the other is in their after school program for school-aged kids.
NVCCC is a great center. It's actually non-demoninational (though it's in the basement of a church), and toddlers are not required to be potty trained to go there, which is great for parents.
The facilities are very nice, probably the best in the area! NVCCC has use of the church's meeting rooms, lunch room, a huge indoor meeting space which is great for cold or rainy weather, a dedicated playground, and a huge fenced in blacktop where the kids ride bikes and trikes. Compared to other facilities we looked at (one was in a small house with 7' ceilings, yikes!), NVCCC is one of the best we've seen. NVCCC also has use of the church's chapel for music concerts and plays that the children produce for their parents!
Many people from McLean, Arlington, Vienna, even Reston and Maryland use NVCCC on their way to or through the Tysons's Corner and McLean areas. |
