Review:
My review is actually for the GED program that the Family Learning Center offers. My teacher in 2009 was Dave and I just want to say that he was an excellent teacher! I had not been in school for 15 years and he gave me the knowledge and confidence to successfully pass the GED test on my first try! He was very patient with me (even though I gave him many reasons not to be) he just kept on pushing when I didn't think I had it in me and than after passing the test he never gave up on me! He told me I had it in me to go straight into college and he helped me every step of the way. I must say I didn't stay in college but I think of (what we as students called him) Mr. Dave every day of my life ever since I met him. It has now been over two years since I walked into his classroom thinking I could not pass the GED test because I was not smart enough and had not been in school for so long but I must say he proved me wrong and I wish the school system had more teachers like him because I assure you that the drop out rate would not be as high as it is now. Please pass my review on and let Mr. Dave get the credit he deserves! He has a very hard job but he seems to make a strong difference many lives!
