I was in search of a day care, when I got my first job in this country. While passing by, I found Copper Sun. I put my three year old son in the day care with lots of reservation, remorse, fear...
In no time, found that my child loved it. His first teacher/mentor was Ms Tina. He loved her, doted on her. He is eight years old now, but he still remembers her. Then cam Ms Liah, she groomed him further. An extremely kind, affectionate lady. At his nap time, she would rub his back so that he would calm down & sleep. (He resisted taking naps!).
The day he graduated from there, in a room full of audience she had him recite a poem of his choice. Every one had tears in their eyes. He has beautiful memories of that school & his two favourite teachers.
He has moved on, he was the Phoenix School Distrcit Spelling Champ for the year 2010, placed 8th in the Regional spelling bee. (he turned 7 on his big day!). He jumped a grade, is going to 4th grade this year.
Our family would give full credit to the wonderful day care Copper Sun, which nourished our child so beautifully. We don't have family here, but it never made us feel that.
Thank you Copper Sun.
