Westwood Childcare Academy's owners have been in business for 23 years. We specialize in early childhood care in small classroom settings which offer a high teacher to student ratio. Our entire staff is CPR and first aid certified. We videotape each classroom, as well as provide parents with a daily log of their child's day. We run a safe and efficient school in a pleasant and happy setting to assure your child's physical and emotional happiness at all times. We are not a babysitting business. Specialized classes such as gym, music, dance and yoga are regular weekly features.
We also have an outdoor playground. We have certified teachers in each classroom to insure that your child is receiving individual attention and a fulfilling education and recreational experience. Our staff is extremely motivated and dedicated to assure that your child's formative years are happy ones. We offer lunch five days a week as well as provide your child with milk, juice, and bottled water.

| Great school. Not too many kids yet (about 7 in my daughters class) since they just opened up at this location, but the kids that are there are very nice and the teachers are great. |

| What I loved about this daycare:
The smaller class sizes. I didn't feel like my child would get lost in the shuffle and it seems like the kids get a lot of one-on-one attention.
The playground
The proximity to the ER (god forbid anything ever happens..you know kids!)
The cleanliness of it and precautions to minimize the passing of germ/colds etc...that was huge to me.
The fact that there is certified teachers who could be teaching in elementary school, but choose to focus on the younger kids. My son learned more in a month at WCA then in 8 months at his previous school.
My son loves it there and its so close to my job, we are quite happy. |
