I have been asked to write this letter of reference because my family is moving from Longmont to Berthoud and we will no longer be able to use Lisa as our daycare provider.
I found Lisa’s name out of the Longmont Daily Times Call classified ads when I was looking for childcare for my son Marshall who was 3 months old at that time. I knew right away after the interview that Lisa would be a great choice for childcare for my son. I felt very fortuitous that we had found someone that we were willing to leave our son with! Marshall’s first day with Lisa was July 29, 2009.
As far as a daycare provider, Lisa is the best I have ever dealt with. Lisa’s house is always very clean; her family is very respectful; and her pets are kind. Her good judgment and mature outlook ensure a logical and practical approach to her parenting and daycare style.
Lisa has always been a very open communicator. For example, we maintained close communication when I was dealing with sleep issues with my son. She helped by adjusting his nap schedule which resulting in him going to sleep at a reasonable hour and ultimately sleeping through the night. I appreciate the ways that she is technological savvy and we can communicate during the day by a quick text or email.
She is also an extremely wonderful photographer! I was often overjoyed to get a random photo or video of my son. This helped me immensely in the beginning with separation issues with my son, and later on as a way to brag to my fellow co-workers, friends, and family.
I am proud to say that I can see the results of having my son attend Lisa’s daycare as you can see he is highly developed and well-adjusted little person. Based on my experience, I have no problem recommending Lisa to another parent.
