Our house is warm and inviting. We have devoted the main floor of the 3 story house to the daycare, as well as the backyard. This includes a large living room, dining room, bedroom/playroom, kitchen and bathroom. We have shelves of books and toys, which are repurposed or reused, as part of our dedication to the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Our backyard boasts a giant garden, where kids can learn about the earth, ecosystems, and nutrition, as well as focus on motor skills, applied problem-solving, team-work, and enjoy being outside. They are encouraged to help with the planting, care, and harvest of the plants, and we'll all help to prepare our special meals. We have a sand box and many animals to play with, and of course, a play-ground, where kids are encouraged to not only run and play, but to create and explore, and learn for themselves.
