Hi my name is Vickie; I live in the Ocean Hills area formerly known as Sunset Hills of Oceanside, (off of Lake Blvd. near Lake Elementary and Madison Middle School.)
I have been in business for over 25 years.
My children are grown and out of the house so my time is spent with the children I care for.

I offer a preschool curriculum for children over two years of age (the children take something home everyday). Of course they work on their colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, phone number, how to spell our name, write it, and more. The also learn a little Spanish also.

Indoors: We have a kitchen area, dramatic play area, train station, and LEGO table.

Outdoors: Playhouse, water table, kitchen, climbing structures, cars, and tricycles.

We have over a dozen fruit trees on the property and plant a vegetable garden every year.
Meals served are breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

We have two parties a year. We have a straw hunt for Halloween and an Easter Egg Hunt. Parents and Grandparents are welcome and encouraged to attend our parties. At Christmas time we have a pajama day!

I am a member of the San Diego County Family Child Care Association (SDCFCCA) have been for over 25 years. I have over 300 hours in training (meetings, workshops and conferences). I take refresher courses annually.
I am a past board member and volunteer for over 13 years to the SDCFCCA.

Low ratio – I am licensed for eight but only care for six children - Ages 0-5.
