To start, I can't say ENOUGH about how loving and wonderful Donna and her staff are at A Child's World.
My son was a year old and I needed to start him in daycare - I worked from home and it was getting harder and harder to get 8 hours of work done in a day AND take care of a one-year old!
I visited many of the "larger" centers in town. I left each one in tears. And the "good ones" were wait-listed. I finally found a large center and enlisted him (NOT A Child's World, but another one).
In this other center, my child was sick for 3 months straight (not to mention all the other children were sick, too). My child was put on 3 rounds of antibiotics and finally had to have injections to help him get better. When I dropped him off in the morning - he cried, when I picked him up at the end of the day - he cried. I knew I needed to do something else.
I luckily discovered Donna at A Child's World. It is a smaller center - not as small as home-based daycare, but not as large as some of the other Centers in town.
The LOVE and attention they give the children is UNBELIEVABLE! My child has been enrolled for over 6 months and has NEVER been sick! When I drop him off he RUNS into the building so excited! When I pick him up he doesn't want to leave because he is so comfortable there! It is such a loving environment. They are fed SUPER well, spend a TON of time outdoors and do lots of crafts, activities, dancing, story-time, etc.
I could go on and on, but all I can say is to visit them, say "hello", have your child spend a few hours or day there and I think you will love it as much as I do. They are a small business and all of the staff work very hard, follow all guidelines, and most importantly LOVE all the children!
