I earned a BS degree from the University fo Maryland ('85), and complete my Masters program in Preschool Education at NOVA University. Our passion and commitment is evident in every dimension of our nationally accredited program (achieved by a mere 6% of centers in the whole country). Each child has their own Individual Education Plan (IEP) to bring out the very best in them. No matter where your child is developmentally we will take them to the next step and beyond. | This program is the best of both worlds. It is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood; and it is a classroom, school experience inside with a wonderful fenced and mulched playground. The classrooms were not over crowded and all the children were so well behaved and engaged. My child, who is typically shy, walked right in as if she knew it was her school! She did not want to leave! I loved all the children's art on the walls and the way the classroom centers were set up. The children were having such vivid conversations with each other and the teacher. It was amazing to watch. This is a great, nurturing experience for children to be introduced to school. They are loved, nurtured and learn all day long. The calm, focus and happiness of the children was what impacted me the most! I was so impressed! We found our school! Thank you Childcare Avenue! |

| This school is a treasure, tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Small, individualized care and development for each child. Each child is given extra attention. The children are so well behaved and focused. The teacher's are engaging the children all day. Having conversations, asking them questions. The real school environment with centers where the children explore and learn with peers and staff eager to help them get to the next level. Not only are the children prepared for school, but they learn how to work together and get along with respect and responsibility. It's a gift to be able to bring your child to such a small, nurturing environment where they can master their world and gain the skill set and confidence to graduate and move on to kindergarten. With everything they learn, I think they could actually skip kindergarten! If you go, you will be so glad you did! |
