The Child Centered Home is a premier Family Day Care in the Paseo del Sol area of Temecula. We are licensed for children between the age of 0-10 years of age. We are a small family day care, so we can care for up to 8 children. We offer 2, 3, and 5 day a week options, as well as daily and hourly back-up child care (as space permits).
Tammy Meyer M.A. is the owner of The Child Centered Home. She started the program because she wanted to be home with her children while continung to work in her chosen field: Early Childhood Education.
The Child Centered Home is more than a child care program, it is an educational program for young children. The children at The Child Centered Home will have opportunities to grow and develop in a stimulating, comfortable, nuturing and FUN environment.
The Child Centered Home offers 4 rooms set up for an engaging day of play. The children will have opportunities for:

Dress Up/Dramatic Play
Block Play

Science & Sensory Play
Outdoor/Large Motor Play
Making Friends & Developing Social Skills
Each child will receive a daily experience sheet at the end of the day. Also a developmental portfolio created for each child. This portfolio will showcase their development in the program through photos, written observations, and samples of their work. The portfolio will be used as a discussion tool for regular parent/teacher conferences.

| Tammy is amazing! We couldn't be happier with our daycare provider. I don't know how she finds the time, but each day we'll get a detailed report card on our daughter. Tammy goes as far as tracking everything they eat, when diapers were changed and what activities our daughter participated in. They even do craft projects that we get to take home. Our daughter started with Tammy at 10 months old and we expect to continue for many years. It's always scary starting with a daycare and some at-home places are scary. This experience has been the exact opposite and an easy transition for both child and the parents because of Tammy's kindness and attention to all of the children's needs. There are even days our little one doesn't want to leave! I can't say enough positive comments about Tammy and her daycare. |
