Brighter Beginnings Family Child Care has been licensed by the state of California since April of 2008. Karey Cazares owns and operates Brighter Beginnings with the help of two full-time assistants. The state of California has grated me a license for 14 children per day.

After teaching and directing for over 12 years in a few different pre-school setting, I decided to apply for my license to run my own pre-school within my home, so I could spend time with my family as much as I desire, as I am married and a mother of four children. My children are ages ten, eight, four, and two.

For over 12 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching young children. I have received my degree in child development, and I have also been cleared through the Department of Justice, received my certification of a preschool teacher and director from the state of California, and have received yearly first-aid and CPR training. Both of my assistants also have CPR and first-aid training.

Brighter Beginnings Family Child Care Center is dedicated to providing a stimulating environment that encourages each child to develop socially and academically. We empower the children we care for with trust and confidence by nurturing them in a safe, loving, and positive environment.
