I have a funtastic daycare in your area. As I am finishing my Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice, I am an advocate for higher education and dedicated to a proactive learning environment for the children I have and will care for. I have a bright and welcoming home that is equipped with many things that will enhance learning opportunities. My home is in the middle of lots beautiful nature and offers a peaceful setting in a home environment. This daycare is small and there will be no more then 5 children. Although I am flexible with days and times, I am hoping to have at least 4 full-time children in order to provide continuity and stability. I understand the importance of schedules and they will be an essential element of my day care. I will provide nutritious meals, snacks, naps, arts, crafts and interactive play time. TV use will be very limited and reading time will be plentiful. I have accommodation for all ages.

I am also offering weekend or overnight care for date nights and/or weekend getaways when scheduled in advance. I have a wonderful family in the Kennewick area and love to spend off time with them so please understand that the advance notice is necessary and greatly appreciated.

Work History in Early Childhood Development:

• 1 year at a daycare on Camp Pendleton Military Base is South California

• Due to a military lifestyle I have moved a lot and worked in 5 Private schools across the Western United States and Japan for a total of 4 ½ years in job titles ranging from Asst. Librarian, Librarian, English Teacher (Japan), Music Teacher, Art Teacher, Computers Teacher and as a Float (an assistant in many different areas as needed)

• 2 ½ years of live-in childcare (Nanny)

• I have done childcare including in home, drop off and babysitting since I was a child myself starting at the age of 13 and accumulatively that is 29 years experience
