Welcome to The Old Yellow Schoolhouse, a in home certified preschool/ childcare program. Opened since Sept 2011 and awarded a 3 star rating through Oregon's Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) as of Oct 2015. I have been working professionally in the field of child development since 1996. I'm Currently completing my Child Development Associate (CDA). My program serves children ages 2-5 years old and at a group maximum of 10 children. High lights of the program are as follows;
- Nutrition First USDA food program, home made, healthy meals. Special diets accommodated.
-Large fenced outdoor playground
- Dedicated classroom/playroom with developmentally appropriate toys and materials.
- Daily opportunities for hands on art, circle time for singing and stories, imaginative play, block building, early writing/pre reading skills, puzzles, counting, outdoor play, and much more.
- Bi yearly developmental screenings to track children's developmental growth. Parent conferences to set goals for your child.
- Monthly activity/lesson calendar and newsletter for parents. Stay connected to what is happening at preschool.
- Bi yearly school parent meetings.
