Hi my name is Ronda Hiller. I have been a licensed home child care provider in Highland Park for 9 years. I have lived in Hp for 30 years. I am well known in my community and have many references. I am licensed by the state of Illinois, and have all the required documents like FBI finger printing, CPR first aid and back ground check, on myself and staff. My house has passed all safety requirements by HP Fire marshal.
I attend about 40hrs. of child development classes each year. I also participate in the child and adult care food program a nutrition program by the United States department of agriculture (USDA) and sponsored by day care resources. The program helps promote good eating habits among young children.

We offer many fun age appropriate learning activities throughout the day which include:
*learning time
*Dancing time …we love are hokey-pokey
*Story Time
*Music time and
*Craft Time
Once a week we have a professional music lady comes in with a guitar and many small instruments for the children she is well known in the community and works at many of the preschools in our area.
Once a week we have a preschool arts and craft teacher come in.

We have a large fenced in backyard with a swing set ,climbing area, 3 different sized slides and a sandbox, all over 7inches of playground mulch. There is also a large paved
area were the children can ride trikes, little tyke cars or scooters. We spend as much time outside as possible getting lots of exercise and fresh air.

I have 2 wonderful helpers; Ana has been with me for 7 yrs. She is a mother of 2 children. She is an excellent artist and comes up with the most amazing age appropriate crafts for the children to create. Ana works full time at my day care.
Jessica is my part time helper. She has been with us for 2 years. Jessica is also the youngest of us and has more energy than the eveready bunny.
Both girls speak Spanish and English. They also may be available for evening baby sitting in your home.

I am also a mother of an amazing 10 year old girl, who loves reading stories, crafts, hide n seek, or putting on a puppet show with the children.

What I offer to you and your child is more than just child care. I offer an extended family. It is often difficult for working parents to balance all of the commitments and responsibilities in their lives. I offer peace of mind where your child is concerned. I offer a safe, loving environment where your child will be accepted, loved, nurtured and stimulated.
We are open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
