The Henning House Childcare and Preschool is a full-day preschool/daycare program for 3 to 5-year olds in Wellington, CO.

As a mother myself, I know how important it is to have someone you trust to keep your precious little ones safe and healthy while you work. I am able to provide the attention, love, and decreased exposure to illness that you just can't find at a busy daycare/preschool. Consistency is so important for kids and having a stable, caring provider helps them feel safe, secure, and loved.

I offer a stimulating curriculum with an age-appropriate schedule that includes time for structured learning activities, playtime, and quiet time. My focus is on preparing children for school while also allowing them to be creative, make friends, and have fun. Curriculum areas include language/literacy, math, science, social studies, social/emotional/physical development, and creative arts. I’m happy to provide our curriculum calendar and scope for the upcoming school year if you’d like to take a look.

* I am available Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm.
* Our home has easy access to/from Hwy. 1 and I-25...it is clean, safe, and smoke-free.
* We have a large fenced-in/park-like yard with a sandbox, lots of toys, a garden and plenty of space for children to move about, explore, and breathe in fresh air.
* I am happy to provide childcare references and a background check if desired.
* I have COVID-19 precautions in place and will be happy to go over them in detail.
