Description:
I am a former Kindergarten teacher and mother of two. I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. For six years, I taught both Kindergarten and second grade.
I consider it a great privilege to have an opportunity to:
Foster independence by encouraging children to explore their surroundings
Promote growth and learning on a daily basis
Provide a loving and nurturing extension of your home
Work in partnership with parents
Your child's day will be comprised of many opportunities for both group learning and self-guided discovery. I am certified in infant/child/adult CPR, First Aid, and Blood Born Pathogens. I also participate in the 4C's food program which means your child will receive healthy and balanced food. Wherever possible, I use organic and locally grown products. Each day breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are served.
Please note that we are a pet friendly home with two small dogs and a cat.
Pets, however, do not have access to childcare areas.
