April's Safe Haven Childcare & Preschool provides a peace of mind for the working parents of children ages 2 weeks - 13 years old. Hours of operation is 6:30a.m. to Midnight according to the parents work schedule, 5 days a week. We are Degree professionals April Washington (owner) has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Administration and my assistant has a Bachelor's Degree in Education our 10 years experience exceeds the norm for Family Childcare programs in this community. We are accredited by the NAFCC (National Association Family Child Care), Star level 3/DCFS licensed. We supply two hot meals and two snacks all meals are according to the guidelines of the USDA.
Our Mission- April's Safe Haven Child Care & Preschool recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. We wanted to foster a love of learning in each child. Our Cait's Christian preschool curriculum. We engaged the children with hands-on activities to enhance their learning. Children learn to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and to work both independently and cooperatively with others. We also celebrate diversity and strive to instill integrity, compassion and confidence in each child. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self.

| My children have been going to Mrs. April for 5 years. I feel my son grown tremendously both emotionally and academically. Mrs.April runs a quality program. The atmosphere is comfortable and Mrs. April is very supportive to the children. If you are looking for an educator for your child you have found it. This Childcare is loving and give the children will get her full attention.
