Growing Together has been opened and licensed for 3.5 years. I am a mother of two children, a girl(4) and boy(2), and a former KinderCare employee. Growing Together is a structured family provider program run much like a day care center but in a smaller setting. I believe a school like structure is important in early child care and that is why we follow a daily preschool routine; we read books, sing songs, learn calendar components and complete theme based crafts or activities each day for enhanced learning experiences. I also believe children learn through play, therefore we do not watch tv at Growing Together. Due to our smaller group size, each child has a chance to form bonds with one another, as well as with me, their care giver.
