Providing home daycare in small group setting with emphasis on quality. No children/grandchildren of my own in care.
Lessons based on Play-Based Learning, with my continuing education focused in this area of early childhood education.
Retired early from business career to follow this dream and care for and make a difference in young children's lives.
I believe that home daycare should be home-like, and children are not confined to one room. We take meals and snacks family-style, at the dining table, and use my living room, dining room, and playroom. I have a fully fenced back yard, a safe location on a dead-end street for walks, and we walk to the park (1/2 mile) about once a month, time permitting.
