| After our daycare closed, we were so terrified we wouldn't find a facility as nice and people as caring for our two-year-old, who had gone to the daycare since he was 10 weeks old. After a recommendation from a former student of Forbes Road CTC, who shadowed and learned from the teachers at ABCs, we took a look--this was our third visit to a daycare in one day and we only had a few weeks to find something safe and nice enough for our son. Since we were in a rush, I figured I'd pick a decent center he'd be safe at for the time being and continue our search. Needless to say, we were sad, stressed, and lacked all hope.
Our son has been at ABCs for six months now and we're so happy to say we've found a place even better than before. The teachers LOVE these kids. My son has done nothing but thrive in the environment at ABCs and sometimes it's hard to get him to leave. Why would he with the awesome playground, indoor play area, and nothing but fun at ABCs? He loves school and all the teachers there. I thank the universe every day that he has somewhere to go where he's safe and has a ball while learning!! I've recommended ABCs to several of my friends, and they've been nothing but happy, too. If you're looking for a place where your child will be loved and learn, GO TO ABCs! |

| Eleven years ago we were referred to ABC’s Daycare at Forbes by a friend who worked in the Vo-Tech Building and we have never second guessed that decision. Our daughter attended ABC’s from 6 weeks until Kindergarten. She has a July birthday and we contemplated keeping her at ABC’s another year before sending her to Kindergarten at the age of five but we found that she was MORE than ready for Kindergarten after her years at ABC’s Daycare! She has returned to ABC’s every summer since to participate in the themed weeks of summer camp! She especially loves the weekly field trips! She has built such a strong relationship with the center’s director and staff that she feels right at home!
When we decided to have another child a few years ago, we knew a least one decision was already taken care of for us!! We definitely knew where he would be attending daycare! Our son is now 16 months old and is thriving at ABC’s!
As a former daycare worker, I know that turnover rates in childcare are high due to low pay, long hours, and a whole lot of running around, but you don’t see this turnover at ABC’s. This is a testament to the character of the staff and their desire to be there with these children! The same teachers my daughter had in the infant and toddler rooms are still there teaching my son! I don’t know many daycares that you could say that about!
As a working mother, it is very difficult to leave my children each day, but I know that when I drop them off at ABC’s they are well taken care of, given opportunities they would have elsewhere, and loved. That last one is very important to me as I work in Children and Youth Services and I know that parents don’t raise children by themselves! We all need a little help and the staff at ABC’s are like family to us. They have been a godsend to a working family who wants to best care possible for their children and I recommend them to everyone that I meet!

| My kids are 6 and 4 and they have been going to ABCs for almost 2 years now. We enrolled them at ABCs when our other daycare was closing for financial reasons but I wish we had found it sooner. My kids love it there. They have a lot of fun, but also learn a lot. The teachers seem to really enjoy being with the kids. My 4 year old daughter has learned some Spanish and sign language. In the summer, they do a lot of fun field trips and activities with the kids. For Halloween they have trick or treating in the halls of the school and for the Holidays they have a Holiday show/concert. I have had my kids at another daycare and I can say that they do so much more with the kids at ABCs. I would recommend it to anyone. |
