I have been providing childcare to families for over 6 years! I have a degree in Social Services and working on BA in psychology at the University of Idaho, where I plan to pursue my MA in Art Therapy. I am CPR and 1st aid cert. I have experience in separation and transitional issues as well as potty training!
My home is drug free & smoke free, safe, loving and most of all clean! We recently bought our home in Post Falls, off of 12th and 41. I have a huge fenced yard full of fun, including our hit new member to our family, "Wilbert" a 2 year old, mini pot bellied pig that loves the attention of everyone. I open my home to children as if it were their own, and even though we have a play room set up, I encourage the children to make my entire home theirs so they are not confined to one area.
I provide all meals, snacks and supplies for arts and crafts and my preschool program during the school year.
My rates are based on your needs, so I work with you on that. Everything is customized right down to the rate!
I offer fun educational activities during the day, along with baking, gardening, singing, dance and movement, and lots of laughter! I also teach manners, social skills and potty training if needed. I treat each child as if they were my own, and build healthy relationships with each one.
I take pride in my job and make it show in everything that I do. I throw holiday parities for the kids, open house once a year with fun activities and an art show displaying each child's arts and crafts. I hand out personalized DVD's for the family to enjoy of your child's photos and videos taken over the year. Customized arts and crafts like no other! Last year we made hand print stepping stones, aprons, and much more! I teach private art lessons on the side and try to include that in our daily activities!

| I took my child to one of the big name daycares in the areas, and each day my child came home dirty, unhappy, and tired. Every morning I would cringe when we walked up to the door at drop off because I did not want to go through another tantrum when it was time for me to leave. Finally, after being on Butterfly Gardens waiting list for over 3 weeks, we got a call.
I was in the process of searching during this time, but never found a respectable daycare that I thought was any better than one we were currently enrolled with.
After meeting the owner, and seeing her home, I was in heaven! The warmth you feel when you walk in, is so comforting. I knew this was the perfect place, not mention all the other high reviews, and the letters of recommendation she allows you to read at the time of your tour, it all put me at ease.
I signed right up without hesitation, and my golly, the first week my daughter was in her care, she had these creative photos taken of her dressed in tutus and butterfly wings. My daughter was treated like a princess! She went to build a bear, she gets to go to parks and the children's science center! My daughter has only been with this daycare for a little less than a month, and she can count to 10 in spanish! And is learning french! My daughter is 2!!!! Can you not tell how excited I am.
I can go on for days, so to make this review short, I will just say, if you are needing a daycare in the CDA/Post Falls area, this is the place! The owner takes pride in the kids, and in her home and I am amazed with everything she does!

| This daycare is the third daycare I have been to sense movie here from FL. I lord the environment and the home like feel to it. Heather is wonderful with the children which was displayed throughout her Facebook page, I immediately arranged a visit to the home, and signed my Daughter up right away. She is wonderful, she's so creative and the keep sake crafts and art she engages the children in, are amazing. I would recommend this daycare and provider to anyone in search of a clean, safe and loving place to have your child in while your away. FIVE STARS!!!!!! |
