I have been in the child care services for over 15 years, with excellent services and references. I have started my family child care facility two years ago and been growing, I'm fixing in changing my permit to license child care home in mid May 2014 but still keeping my ratio low. I have 1 to 5 ratio in my home. My infants and children are taught American Sign Language by my mom who is born deaf, I teach Spanish as a second language to the children. We do lot of play learning where children are taught math, social skills, emotional skills, self concept, gross motor and fine motor skill and lots of creative arts. We encourage curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows children or child to growth and development a positive self-image. Children are motivated to learn and when they have opportunities to make choices in an environment that is enriching and stimulating it sparks imagination!
