Welcome to Dream Big Daycare. My name is Anna Schmitz. I am a mother to Meghan (14), Myah (13), Tyler (10) and Aiden (1). Yes, that is a total of 4 kids!!! I have a wonderful husband, Mark, who is an estimator at Rydell Collision Center in Waterloo. We have lived in Dike for 2 years and love it. I have a BA in Elementary Education and had worked at Community United Child Care and Preschool for 5+ years as a preschool-assistant teacher. I have also owned a daycare for 2 years until we got flooded in 08.

I have decided to do in-home daycare because: 1. I couldn’t find a daycare around the area that would accept Aiden as a drop-in because of my substitute-teaching schedule, 2. I am still doing what I love to do, which is teaching the children, 3. I am supporting my family with the financial needs.
