To Whom This May Concern, Liz Gill was our daughter’s provider at Playfuldays Childcare. We would like to highly recommend Liz as a child care provider as she is an outstanding teacher that goes above and beyond. Liz gave our daughter an incredible start to her schooling. Each day our daughter would wake really excited to see Liz. Liz made everyday fun and full of new learning experiences. She sat on the floor with the children and interacted with them. Liz genuinely cares about children and has endless patience. was always so interested. As parents we liked the daily communication about our daughter’s day and progress. Now our daughter is in Kindergarten and she still talks about Liz. Liz is organized and runs a structured day and the children happily follow the routine. The children under Liz’s care are happy and content. Liz is positive and encouraging. Liz is qualified, educated and full of experiences with children. We strongly, without reservation, recommend Liz as a child care provider. Any child that gets to spend time with Liz will be happy and fulfilled. Sincerely, Carol Richardson

To Whom It May Concern: It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for Liz Gill in regards to caring for your children. We had the pleasure of first meeting Liz when we enrolled our son at at Playfuldays Childcare in Cupertino. At that time our son was a bit withdrawn due to recent speech issues that had developed. He was a child who had previously loved participating in class, especially music and circle time, and was now quiet and shy. Within a few weeks he had developed a wonderful bond with Liz and always smiled and hugged her. She was sensitive to his needs and encouraged him throughout the class. He blossomed under her care. Liz is easy to talk to. She is warm, open and genuine. She took our concerns seriously and engaged in a professional manner with everyone. Her lesson plans were very clear and diverse and centered on learning through play. She made our oldest feel special every day. She asked how he was doing at home, what he was working on in speech therapy and implemented these recommendations during class. I would not hesitate to have Liz care for either of my children again in the future. If we only lived closer to her we would place both our children in her care. Sincerely, Mary Golden

To Whom It May Concern: My husband and I had been working full time during the years of 2004-2006. Liz cared for our daughters, Adriana and Debby five days a week during that time period. We felt very fortunate to have Liz as our child care provider. Liz offered various educational activities, both indoors and out. She provided healthy snacks and meals that our children enjoyed and her home was always clean and kept child proof. Often times, my husband or I would pick our girls up to find drawings, paintings or small craft projects that they had made with Liz’s patient assistance. Our daughters bonded with Liz very well. Liz has a wonderful rapport and personality with the ability to connect with children and to work with them with care and patience. She communicated well with us and worked with our requests when needed. Liz definitely offered a caring, patient and structured childcare which we valued. My husband and I would recommend Liz’s care to anyone without reservation. Sincerely, Richard & Debbie Horowitz

To whom this may concern, My husband and I both work outside of the home, and wanting our children to have a small, intimate child care setting, we chose to look for an in-home provider with the help of county resources. After interviewing several possible candidates, we finally pulled up to Liz’s home and knew within minutes we had found a needle in the haystack. We were so grateful that she felt we would be a good fit for her program, as well. Liz provided childcare for our oldest daughter beginning in August of 2005. Our daughter felt completely safe and secure in Liz’s home. For example, our daughter struggled with some separation anxiety at drop off; However, Liz was always supportive, and helped to come up with ways to ward off the tears, and make drop offs easier for my daughter, and for me. It didn’t take our daughter, or us, long to realize that she was in very safe hands. Being a mom herself, Liz has a very nurturing personality. She always exhibited patience and kindness when working with children. By modeling this behavior, she was able to teach the children how to interact respectfully with one another. When conflicts did arise, she always remained calm, and helped the children work through their differences, teaching them how to work, play, and problem solve together. Liz also offered various educational activities, as well as healthy snacks and meals. Her home was always clean and kept child proof. But what I respected most about Liz’s child care was how selective she was about the families she cared for. She understood that with every child that entered her childcare came the family values and beliefs that they were learning at home. Because our daughter was spending a great deal of her day with these children, it was very important to us that she was interacting with children and adults who would expose her to what we felt were appropriate and respectful behaviors. Liz’s selection process ensured just that. When our second child was born, we ha

To Whom It May Concern: Before we began our search for a preschool program for our son, we sat down and talked about what we wanted the program to include and what we wanted in an instructor. We knew we wanted a structured program with activities that included time for Manny to play, to socialize with other children, to be engaged in activities that were relevant to children his age, and to learn how to behave in a "school-like" atmosphere. We wanted him to learn not only his ABC's and 123's, but also about the community, the nation, and the world in which he lives. For an instructor, we hoped to find someone who, first and foremost, loves children. Someone with time-tested experience was also a big priority for us. Other characteristics on our list included patience, a vivid imagination, organizational skills, awareness of our child's safety, and a problem solver. Liz Gill has somehow found a way to fit everything we've wanted in a program at Playfuldays Childcare. Not only has she thought of everything that we wanted as parents, she's thought of everything we'd missed. She's flexible, intelligent, energetic, consistent, and is a life-long learner. Manny has learned so much from her! She has taught him things I never would have thought to teach him at home. Liz has prepared him for so many "firsts" in his childhood including holidays, mailing letters, using manners, and even that first dental visit. He can write his name, name all his shapes, sing about a zillion songs, and even talks about his feelings! He's learning empathy for others and he's learned how to sit and listen just as well as he can learn while playing. He is safe while he's with. Liz and he misses her and his preschool friends when he's not there with them. I would recommend her program and most of all I would recommend Liz to anyone who asked me what they should do for presc

To whom it may Concern Liz Gill began caring for my daughter, Sandra., in August 2003. I had just pulled Sandra. out of a very bad day care situation, and needless to say, I was very apprehensive about trying to find someone new to take care of her. As soon as I spoke with Liz on the phone, my fear immediately began to go away. We set up an appointment to meet with her and as soon as we walked in the door, I could tell that Liz was different from any other day care provider I had spoken with. Sandra was immediately comfortable in her home and acted like she had been there several times before. She started school there the following week. I never knew how much Sandra was missing out on until Liz started caring for her. She became even more outgoing than she already was and was very proud to sing to us all the songs that she learned from Liz . Sandra never gives me a problem when I drop her off, and to be honest, it is me that has the problem because I hate leaving her. I would love to spend the whole day with Liz and the kids. Liz has been nothing short of a Godsend for my daughter and my family. She truly cares for not only my daughter, but for all the children that come to her. Her love of children and family values shines through in all that she does. In these times, a lot of providers are afraid of any contact with children, but Liz always has a big hug and a caring hand for any sick or weepy child who needs it. My family and I thank God every day for bringing us to. Liz . I don't know what we would do without her. Thank you, Liz, for everything that you do and are! Sincerely Laurie Garcia

To Whom It May Concern, This letter is in reference to Liz Gill. She has been our children's preschool teacher/daycare provider since the fall of 2002 to the summer of 2006.. We were referred to her from our previous daycare provider. We are extremely thankful that we found Liz as the provider for our children. Liz is extremely talented when it comes to dealing with children. I have seen firsthand how Liz can handle every different child's needs. All children are different, obviously, but Liz seems to always know the best way to handle every situation. She is loving to all children with no bias towards any one in particular. She has a structured program which I am very pleased with and have definitely noticed a difference in my kids. My daughters, Kathy. and Mary ., talk about Liz all the time and always look forward to going over there Liz is not only a great teacher and provider for our children, but she is also a good friend. We have had some special circumstances in the past that she has been very understanding about and we feel comfortable asking her for advice and help. Liz 's entire family is a very loving family. The entire atmosphere at Playfuldays Childcare is one of love and caring. We have been through several daycare providers in the past and we are extremely lucky to have found Liz . To Whom It May Concern: I became acquainted with Liz Gill while my husband was working in Cupertino, California. I needed someone who felt was reliable enough to take care of my 18-month-old daughter. Someone recommended that I call Liz. I was very pleased with her and never once had any reserve about leaving my daughter with her. Melinda loved her and her family. I would definitely recommend her. She is probably the best daycare provider that we have had and we miss her. Ron Johnsons
